WHAT IS ‘TRUTH’?
In the Gospel of the Holy 12, Lection 90, the twelve were together in ‘the Circle of palm trees’ after the crucifixion.
Thomas asked a question.
The dynamics of positive and negative must be involved in every completion. Due north around the globe will take you back through south. We could not know what is evil if we did not conceive it in us. Intimate contact with evil helps to make us good. We learn that it is undesirable. We want to experience better. Our understanding of what is worse will help us define it, as bitter helps to define sweet. Sometimes we embrace bad ideas in ignorance. With new advanced revelations, the light of higher understanding will absolve them. Before, we believed in them. When we evolve to higher levels, former truths become ludicrous. Every new height is a higher state of existence. Dimensional beings evolve over many cycles to transcend their lower planes. We progress to completion perpetually. The directions we take depend on our ideals.
In cultures that would stone people to death for committing adultery, the killers believe they do well. They may advance to see the act as barbaric. If we live a thousand years, we will see evil in much of what we think is good. The more we experience, the more we perceive and the more we advance. As we progress to Light, we attain higher vibratory frequencies. We advance in this life to be better in the life to come. Yesu said, in the Gospel of the Holy 12, that our thought becomes our spirit. Our spirit will enter a compatible vibratory state, or frequency range. We will live that reality.
When the fire of a star is gone out, it dies on its dimension. Yet, it is alive ten thousand years later when we see it from earth in its existing state. Soon it may be gone again, to our eyes. Twenty thousand years later, others see it, in its existence from another planet. We cannot seize to be.
We are the Sacred Fire, and our beings are as stars in the galaxy. It is one event, from the largest to the minutest order.
While the Holy 12 reasoned in the circle, Thomas asked another disciple, “What is truth? For the same thing appears different to different minds, and even to the same mind at different times. What then is truth?”
Then, like a ghost, the crucified savior appeared in their midst and said, “Truth, one and absolute, is in God alone. For no man, neither any body of men, know that which God alone knows; who is in the All in All. To man, truth is revealed according to his capacity to receive it. The one truth has many sides. One man sees one side only, another sees another side, and some see more sides than others, according to how it is given to them to see.”
“Look at this crystal, how the one light manifests in twelve faces. Yes, four times twelve, but each face reflects the same one ray of light. One may regard one face, and another the other, but it is the one crystal and one ray of light shining in all its faces.”
“Again observe when one climbs a mountain. On reaching one height he thinks, ‘there is the top of the mountain, let us get to it’. When they climb that height, they see another beyond it. They climb until they reach the ultimate height, if they can attain it.”
“This is how it is with truth. I am the truth, and the way, and the Life; and I give you the truth I received from above. That which is seen and received by one is not seen and received by another. That which seems true to some does not seem true to others. Those in the valley cannot see the same as what those on the hilltop see. Yet, to each, it is the truth as that mind conceives it, and for that time until a higher truth is revealed to the same. To the soul that receives the higher light, more light is given. Do not condemn others and be condemned yourselves.”
“As you keep the holy Law of Love that I gave you, the truth will be revealed more and more to you. The Spirit of truth from above shall guide you; although, through many wanderings, into all truth as the fiery cloud guided the children of Israel through the wilderness.”
“Be faithful to the light you have till a higher light is given to you. Seek more light and you shall have abundantly. Rest not until you find. God gives you all truth as a ladder with many steps for saving and perfecting the soul. The truth that seems right today, you will abandon for the higher truth of tomorrow. Press on to perfection. Whoever keeps the holy Law, which I have given, shall save their souls, however differently they may see the truths, which I have given.”
The Law of Love is the ultimate Law. It directs the thoughts to greater ideals and the spirit to higher frequency ranges. Even if ones have different views concerning truth, by keeping the Law of Love they will remain on the path to advancement. Only open minds receive higher truths.
“Many shall say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, we have been zealous for your truth’. I will say to them, ‘no, you have been zealous to make others see what you see and no other truth beside yours’. Faith without kindness is dead. Love is the fulfilling of the Law. How shall faith in what they receive profit those who hold it in their unrighteousness? They who have love have all things. Without love, nothing has worth. Let each hold what he sees as the truth in love, knowing that, where there is no love, truth is a dead letter that profits nothing.”
“In love there abides goodness, truth, and beauty; but the greatest of these is goodness. If ones have hatred for their fellow men and harden their hearts to the creatures of God’s hands, how can they see truth unto salvation, since their eyes are blinded and their hearts hardened to God’s creation? As I received the truth, so I gave it to you. Let each receive it according to his light and his ability to understand. Do not persecute those that receive it according to a different interpretation. Truth is the Might of God. It will prevail over all errors in the end. However, the holy Law that I have given, is plain for all, and just and good. Let all observe it for the salvation of their souls.”
